Each Space is a separate window, to save a space you simply have to give it a name.

Once you give the window a space name, all changes to the window are auto saved.

You can close the space simply by closing the window, and to resume where you left of simply open the space again.

Does Tab Spaces upload any of my data / browsing history to your servers?

Nope! All your data and your browsing history is stored within your browsers local storage, so your data never leaves your machine.

Can I export my stored tab spaces and can I import them to another machine?

Yes, on the new tab page click on the hamburger icon then export spaces (the .json file can be opened using any text editor). The menu also has the import spaces option, click on that and load your exported .json file and your spaces will be imported.
